Starting Dog Section 2

Hello: Question: I notice in the second section of the “starting dogs” course at about 20:00 in, the dog seems to be taking flanks from the verbal commands. Is that an illusion or has the dog now associated those commands enough to understand? I know the dog was worked in between recording sessions too but I didn’t hear any update on how we got from associating the verbal commands at first, to having the dog comprehend and take the command later.

Hi Dirk, Can you please help me better understand the question by letting me know 1. which dog youre referring to and 2. are you asking how he/she learned their flanks?
